Merry [insert your religion]!!!!!
We don't celebrate Christmas Day in my family, so today is just an ordinary day for us... except! It's not exactly ordinary for me. The reason is I woke up craving ritual, and so that's what I did.
I've always been a creature of rituals; they're the sacred spaces held in time & place where my dreams are forged & fattened with energy and strategy, and get ready to become a reality.
This morning I woke up later than usual, and my mind was spinning excitedly, full to the brim with ideas and goals. I knew this was the moment for ritual.
I had been keeping Leonie's workbooks and calendar untouched in the computer, chanting patiently in the back of my head day after day for the right moment to come to me. And the perfect moment knocked on the door today; the right mind-frame, heart-frame and body-frame aligned themselves in order to release this year and invoke the new.
After breakfast, I performed the necessary energy cleanse in my room. Then, my lover and I texted for a little while and, as asual, he inspired me to play bigger. And then I printed the workbooks, grabbed Danielle Laporte's The Desire Map for extra inspiration, and asked the oracle to tell me something -anything- about the process I was embarking on. The Three Fates came up.
Learn the lessons of yesterday, release, move on, step into what's next. That's how you master life: integrating & letting go.
It's an inner journey, it always is. Because behaviors begin with an intention, oftentimes a subconscious intention in this day and age of fast living & external focus.
Intention is an inner voice. Change always begins inside, just like remaining the same is also a reflection of what the inner voices are murmuring.
Those seemingly harmless intentions -conscious and unconscious- rule our fucking lives.
They start the machine that is our day. And if we're not careful, they become the narrator of our entire life.
We must dismantle the subconscious if we are to have the funnest lifestyle possible. Life begins with one day. And it continues with one day too. One step. Then another step.
You fall? Great! Deep breath. Put your hand in your heart. No, I'm not joking, do that. And when you're ready, get up. Then one step. This cycle never ends. It's crucial for inner peace to understand that life is a cycle -the Life/Death/Life cycle- not a linear railway with stations you miss and will never get to see again. What belongs to you always finds its way to you. I truly believe this. I believe it because I've experienced it multiple times.
Live today as you want to live next month. Your mind & emotional realm are the most powerful tools to turn abstracts into tangibles. Use them consciously & wisely. Let them dictate your actions. Backed up by emotions, behavior simply flows. It's effortless. So invest in the health of your emotional realm. Take responsibility for what you feed into it. Tend to it like the garden it is. Choose what and who you surround yourself with. Keep it as clean, spacious & beautiful as possible.
Become your dream. Today.
You want a life full of love? Become a loving person. And not just toward others -don't forget yourself. In fact, you come first.
When you are in a constant state of love -and love means acceptance of what is, lack of resistence, non-judgment-, the rest falls into place. Heartbreaks will inevitably happen, and they are learning lessons. Keep going.
Heartbreaks made me tougher & even more loving, it's a paradox. I often tell the story of how experiencing that state of "falling in love" and not being reciprocated made me the closest a person can get to being fearless. Nothing can destroy me now. It was like being washed by a waterfall of universal truth. I no longer experience neediness or desperation, for starters. My capacity for love has expanded and deepened, and for some reason the world gives it back to me in the form of so-called 'lucky' experiences and people.
I became my dream of love, myself.
I still have other states I'd like to embody, such as financial abundance. I'll get there, I'll become that one day. I've been doing the inner work for a while, and will continue until my potential is realized. I know I can do it. It's not even a hope, it's a knowing.
Draw it.
Paint it.
Chant it.
Vision it.
Collage it.
Dance it.
Knit it.
Cook it.
Model-build it.
Whatever your creative outlet of choice is, bring your dream essence and/or intentions forth into your personal space. Make it into something you can touch and see. It will get bigger over time as you continue to interact with it and inject it with your energy, and one day it will go out of your personal bubble -warning: can be scary- and the rest of the world will see it, the world will see you. And when that happens, the world will inject even more energy into it.
You must prepare your inner world to deal with the interaction between the creature you are & the rest of the world, because this exchange of energy can affect you slightly negatively depending on how sensitive you are.
You must be at peace with yourself and have firm roots in a rich, abundant, positive and solid belief system that will keep you standing straight come friends or foes.
